Bed & Breakfast Accomodation We are a
working croft, home to the Romesdal fold of registered, pedigree,
Highland cattle and a small flock of Cheviot sheep. There are excellent
views from the breakfast room across Loch Snizort with the Cuillin
hills to the south and our cattle and sheep are clearly visible in the
fields.
Accomodation:
At the moment we are offering only one double bedroom with tea and
coffee making facilities with exlcusive use a large, newly
modernised bathroom with shower and bath. However, by prior arrangement
we are willing to cater for families with another available room.
As you may well appreciate this will ensure that your stay is quiet and
private within an unhurried, informal and friendly household.
The whole house was
modernized and extended in 2007 with central heating throughout. This
is a very comfortable, quiet and private base for your holiday on the
Isle of Skye. There will be no strangers at the breakfast table.
Location:
Romesdal is situated just off the main A87 road, mid-way between the
Skye village of Portree and the ferry terminal at Uig. At the Romesdal
sign we are the house directly on the corner, with trees.
Usually, a white Land Rover will be in the driveway.
A ten minute drive either way takes you to these destinations. There is easy access to the shores of Loch Snizort and the hills above Kingsburgh and the Trotternish Ridge. Romesdal is ideally situtated as a base to explore the North and West of Skye and is also a convenient stopping point for those travelling to and from the Outer Isles. Breakfast:
There is plenty to choose from. We offer a full, traditional Scottish
breakfast menu of bacon, sausage, eggs, tomato, beans,
haggis, black pudding plus toast, tea or coffee or any
combination thereof. Also, on the side there is fruit juice, cereal,
yogurt, fruit, cheese and oat cakes. We try and cater for all tastes
and source our food locally.

The tariff is £30 per person per night with
discount for stays of over three nights. To book your stay at
